Anatta

Arvid began his dj-career in the early 2000s as part of a reggae-soundsystem, specialised in roots and dub. Over the years his sound became more and more psychedelic until he finally switched from vinyl to cd and from dub to tribal psychedelic progressive, always on the hunt for the music with the highest trance-potential. The difference between music and magic is little more than two letters and dj-sets can be so much more than a mere conglomeration of fat tunes. Djing can be appraised as the art of creating a journey. A journey with the potential to transcend boundaries, to heal, amaze, inspire, and unite. In order to apply insights from psychoacoustics, hypnosis and auditory driving to his djing, Arvid focussed on consciousness and trance-technologies during his study of psychology in the Netherlands. Coming in touch with the Zenon sound at Boom-festival 2008 was a revelation to him. Totally blown away by this incredibly innovative and inspiring approach to psytrance he instantly became a Zenon-addict and in order to pay his respects to the Zenon-crew travelled Australia in 2011, where he played at a couple of parties between Cairns and Melbourne and got signed as a label-dj to promote the Zenon-sound over in Europe.
