Artist Bio

Millivolt is the DJ/producer project of artist Luk Schmid based in Switzerland. He found his way to electronic music back in 1997. In 2000 Luk bought the first Technics MK2 and began to mix Psy & Progressive Vinyl. The influence of different music styles was as formative that he eventually found his way to Nuskoolbreaks and psychedelic Tech-Funk. In 2006 Luk took a first try on the synths and the musical odyssey has begun. The “Triple Agent” project was born and short after that he released his own psychedelic tech-funk and psybreaks tracks which appeard on the biggest psybreaks labels such as “Broken Robot Rec. (UK)”, “AYRA Rec. (HU)” and his own record label “Logariddim Records” which he is still running with great success.

These days Luk established his brandnew DJ/producer project Millivolt which focuses on zenonesque psygressive music. Millivolts sound is best described as deep experimental and frisky dark progressive. His passion for electronic music has recently grown into a quest to find the perfect groove.
